Some of the job tasks included development of a work plan for investigation of the site, development of worker health and safety plans, field sampling of materials, supervision of test drilling, supervision of underground storage tank (UST) removals, production of a risk-based closure report for the site, and development of a site remediation plan.
BALTIMORE HARBOR/CURTIS BAY PRIVATE INDUSTRIAL SITE
This Brownfields designated site is located in northern Anne Arundel County along Curtis Creek. This location marks it as a particularly sensitive area. PMT is tasked with developing a Multi-jurisdictional Voluntary Clean-up Agreement. This agreement will cover asbestos removal, remediation of oil-contaminated groundwater, and construction activities which include permit acquisition for air emissions, wetlands, bulk headings (new and replacement), dredging, and a NPDES permit for the discharge of both storm and industrial wastewater. PMT will conduct oversight of site activities called for under the various permits and design remediation plans as necessary for the project.
PMT represents the owners of a shopping center which is in the United States Superfund Deferral Program. PMT has conducted the major soil and groundwater investigation for this site. PMT developed the Risk Assessments and Feasibility Studies for this site and negotiated the closure of the site with the Maryland Department of the Environment.
